40th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrating 40 Years of Tulip Caterers

For 40 years, Tulip Caterers has been proud to serve Franklin Square, Garden City, Stewart Manor, Nassau County, Long Island, and the surrounding communities.

Founded in 1986, Tulip Caterers started as a family business built on quality food, personal service, and a commitment to making every gathering special. From corporate events and holiday celebrations to parties, communions, confirmations, weddings, and family gatherings, the Tulip Caterers team has helped generations of customers celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

Today, Tulip Caterers has grown into a one-stop deli caterer offering fresh, hot and cold homemade specialties, including a full line of Boar’s Head deli products, soups, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, desserts, and beverages and more. Customers can stop in for a quick meal, pick up groceries and family favorites, or work with our staff to plan your next event with delivery, setup & wait staff available.

Through every stage of our growth, our commitment to customer service, quality, and fair prices has remained at the heart of the business. Tulip Caterers is proud to be more than a deli or catering company—it is a longtime part of our community.

Join Us for Our 40th Anniversary Celebration

To celebrate this incredible accomplishment, Tulip Caterers will be hosting a special community event on Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Our customers are invited to join us for an afternoon filled with food, fun, and celebration, including:

This celebration is a chance to thank the community, reconnect with longtime patrons, and celebrate the journey from the beginning as “Caterers of Distinction” to today’s “One-Stop Deli Caterer with Distinction.”

A Special Message from the Owner

I would like to take this moment to thank my parents for partnering with me on this incredible journey. I wish to thank my wife, Joanne, for being by my side & putting up with the late hours that I keep. I’m grateful to my stepson, Austin, who spent several years helping with our barbecue grilling, and to my daughter, Olivia, who still pitches in when she’s home from college. I appreciate the love and support of my family.

I want to extend very special thanks to our community and all of our patrons for your loyalty over the years.

Thank you for allowing Tulip Caterers to be part of your lives for the past 40 years. We look forward to celebrating with you and continuing to serve our community for many years to come.

Come celebrate with us on Saturday, October 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We can’t wait to see you!

Celebrating Independence Day This Weekend—and Freedom All Year Long

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day weekend, we're reminded of the significance of July 4, 1776—a day that forever changed the course of our nation's history. This year is especially meaningful as America celebrates the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence , marking two and a half centuries of the ideals that continue to shape our country.

The Fourth of July is a time for backyard barbecues, parades, fireworks, and time spent with loved ones. It's a chance to pause and appreciate the freedoms we enjoy and the sacrifices made by generations of Americans to preserve them.

But while Independence Day is celebrated once a year, the values it represents deserve to be celebrated every day.

Freedom is found in the opportunities we have to build our communities, support our neighbors, pursue our dreams, and make choices that improve our lives and the lives of those around us. Independence is reflected in hard work, resilience, personal responsibility, and the ability to create a brighter future for ourselves and our families.

As a local business, we're grateful for the opportunity to serve our community throughout the year. We believe that supporting one another, treating people with kindness and respect, and taking pride in what we do are everyday ways we honor the spirit of independence.

Whether you're traveling, hosting family, watching fireworks, or simply enjoying a relaxing weekend, we hope you take a moment to reflect on what freedom means to you.

From all of us, thank you for being part of our community. We wish you a safe, joyful, and memorable Independence Day weekend as we celebrate 250 years of American independence—and the freedoms we cherish every day of the year.

Happy Independence Day!
